Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Designer - User Experience to join the Product Strategy & Customer Experience team. This role is responsible for the UX design of strategic technology project initiatives across the global business, closely collaborating with cross-functional business representatives and customers, with a focus on optimal design for usability of next generation client and driver technology tools.
Job Description
· Support User Experience Design Efforts across Technology Projects
· Work closely with product and project leads, cross-functional leaders from across the business, and IT to develop engaging, modern, and intuitive fleet management tools providing a seamless end-user experience for clients, drivers and suppliers
· Create designs that meet the need of business requirements
· User Design SME ensuring designs maintain adherence and alignment with overall brand standards/design templates/style guides and consistency throughout all customer facing applications
· Stay current on technologies and best practices that impact or shape the user experience and apply this knowledge to daily tasks
· Develop and implement best practices for iterative design, feedback and usability testing
· Support development of site/journey maps for related end-user technology tools
· Perform market and client focused research
· Understand and support research of key user personas and primary use cases across all client, driver and supplier technology tools
· Work iteratively with end users, both internal and external, to gather and document requirements
· Focus on continuous improvement of designs
Qualifications
· BA/BS degree in Design (Interaction, Graphs, Visual Communications, Product, Industrial), HCI, CS, or other related field preferred
· 3+ years of app and responsive design experience required
· Strong analytical experience and visual creativity
· Ability to dissect problems and create solutions
· HTML, Adobe Creative Suite skills, and knowledge of JavaScript and other tools for rapid prototyping purposes
· Proficiency in various MS Office software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
· General comfort level with emerging technologies and collaborating/communicating with IT/technical experts
