Job Description
Broad function and scope of the position:
This REMOTE ELIGIBLE position is an integral member of JDRF’s Marketing and Communications team, the Marketing Analyst will contribute key insights to JDRF’s marketing strategies through the identification of key metrics and the collection, analysis and interpretation of data using analytical tools. The analyst will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to understand JDRF’s marketing needs and goals, determine the appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) and how to best use data analytics tools to continually improve the effectiveness of the marketing function.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage performance analysis and reporting across multiple programs of varying scales and stages to measure performance, demand generation, pipeline impact, content performance, donor retention, and donor engagement
- Contribute to the creation and evaluation of methods for collecting data, such as surveys, online polls, questionnaires, etc.
- Track marketing metrics, identify trends, create forecasts
- Track allocation of budget to specific marketing programs; measure target and actual ROI
- Consult with members of the marketing and communications team to encourage ongoing optimization of performance measures and data driven decision making
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies; identify opportunities for improvement
- Use statistical software to analyze data and glean insights
- Convert complex data into understandable reports; present the results to management within the Marketing and Communications department and across JDRF
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of related experience
- Data analytics experience required; marketing analytics experience, preferred
