Job Description
We have an exciting, newly created opportunity to join our Group People & Capability team as an Organisational Development Manager reporting to the Head of Group P&C. This hands-on role will lead leadership & capability development both at a group level, and across our retail brands.
- Own the management of talent, competency frameworks, and succession planning tools, ensuring they are current, strategically aligned, and effectively embedded across the organisation.
- Lead group-wide programs, including engagement and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of people-related training materials, including compliance, capability development, and onboarding programs.
- Coordinate and guide the design, development, and delivery of brand and group leadership programs, partnering with GM P&C, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure strategic alignment and impact.
- Be the subject matter expert (SME) on capability assessments, using insights to inform targeted leadership and talent development initiatives.
- Oversee the coordination of scheduling, logistics, and communications with training teams and vendors to deliver learning programs efficiently and seamlessly across the organisation.
- Support facilitators, managers, and participants during program delivery, maintaining high-quality learning experiences and alignment with program objectives.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on program participation, outcomes, and tool usage, driving continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ demonstrated experience in organisational development, instructional design or learning & development, ideally from a similar large retail (or other fast paced business.
- Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and engaging, with the ability to deliver impactful resources, content and programs.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Tertiary qualification in Organisational Development or Human Resources.
