Job Description

As the Events & Enablement Coordinator, you will be responsible for the execution of various marketing events, whilst assisting in the creation and implementation of training programs. This role plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and coordination of activities, contributes to the overall success of the team's objectives.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Owning end to end planning and execution of external events, including tradeshows, industry conferences and customer events
  • Managing all components of an event lifecycle, including logistics, run sheets, budgets and supplier and vendor management
  • Leading the planning and delivery of select events, acting as the central point of contact from concept and theme, through to full on-site coordination and post-event follow up
  • Managing internal event logistics, including venue sourcing, AV, catering, and communication to internal teams.
  • Work closely with internal digital and campaign teams to manage lead capture, CRM handover and event ROI.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Supporting the creation and design of training content and learning pathways to meet training objectives
  • Helping track and report training completion against targets across the JB Hi-Fi Commercial team

 

Please note: As this is an events role, some out of normal business hours work and travel will be required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in delivering marketing events across multiple event scenarios like tradeshows, conferences, customer events and internal team-focused events, preferably in a B2B environment or tech industry
  • Hands-on experience managing all components of an event lifecycle, including budgets, timelines, AV, as well as internal and external stakeholder management
  • Strong written and verbal communication, along with exceptional organisation, attention to detail and time management skills are essential
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and confident working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outcomes-focused individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, with proven experience working in both independent and collaborative environments
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (desirable)
  • Experience with marketing automation systems such as Salesforce CRM, Pardot and Eventbrite (desirable)
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, events, PR, or a relevant discipline (desirable)
