Job Description
We're looking for a Category Management and Marketing Intern to strengthen our sales team in Brussels. As an intern at JDE you will work on a set of different global and local brands within the portfolio (SENSEO®, L’Or , Douwe Egberts, Jacqmotte). You will get an in depth understanding of the sales industry while learning from reputable sales professionals.
Your main responsibilities:
- Putting the analytical skills into practice by analysing sales results and translating them into arguments or action points;
- Update of different reporting tools + involvement in improvement of dashboarding projects (F.E. automation of excel tables, centralizing and connecting data sources, …)
- Support with customers category management: gather market insights and trends, analyse customer sales results, create selling stories and BR/JBP presentations to support the segment marketing specialist/sales team;
- Development of communication/POS material: follow up the development and implementation from A to Z; collecting assets, briefing agency, follow up correction rounds and implementation;
- Assist in the organization of trade fairs: developing POS material, backwall visuals and administrative support;
- Administrational support for sales colleagues in both field, shopper and customer functions;
- Opportunity to accompany the external field team for a day to experience what happens in the stores;
- Support sales initiatives such as creating presentations made out of the sales data;
- Option to broaden the knowledge of sales and FMCG.
- Opportunity to learn and master key tools such as Excel, Nielsen IQ, Power BI, Xtel and more.

For this role as a Category Management and Marketing intern, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- You’re a student in economics, business, communication, marketing, or has experience in courses with analytics and e-commerce;
- Eager to learn;
- Good communication and analytical skills;
- You are commercially minded;
- Hands on mentality and agile;
- Detail-oriented and precise
- Experience with MS Microsoft programs;
- You’re interested in the coffee and tea business;
- You’re available for at least 5 months (ideally 6 or more) starting from December 2026/January 2027.
- Fluent in French and/or Dutch. Fluent in English.
