Job Description
Regulatory Affairs
- Monitor new and updated Thailand regulatory requirements, scientific developments, and industry trends.
- Communicate changes to internal stakeholders and adjust regulatory strategies accordingly.
Regulatory Compliance
- Prepare, review, and issue labelling specifications for local and export markets following company processes.
- Conduct label compliance reviews, ensuring correct legal designations, claims, ingredient lists, and nutrition data.
- Ensure proper implementation of graphic and techno-legal elements via CopyDeck and Syncforce.
- Provide compositional and regulatory guidance to R&D, including acceptable ingredients and legal limits.
- Review and approve raw materials, product specifications, recipes, allergens, nutrition data, and promotional materials to ensure compliance.
Regulatory Submissions
- Support Supply Chain and Quality teams in preparing documents for product registrations, renewals, variations, and regulatory queries in line with Thailand requirements.
Training & Education
- Deliver training and educational materials to enhance regulatory understanding and strengthen compliance culture across the organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D, Packaging, D2P, Quality & Food Safety, Marketing, Legal, and the regional team to support compliance across multi-market projects and simplify ways of working.
Qualifications
University Graduate in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent.
Must have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs within food industry of Thailand market, preferably coffee & tea industry.
- Thorough understanding of Thai’s Regulatory Affairs requirements and processes related to food legislation.
- Considerable understanding of nutrition science and food safety
- Understanding of product development, ingredients, manufacturing and business processes.
- Good articulation and networking with Thailand’s Local Industry Associations, Scientific Institutions and Government/Authority bodies

- Ability to manage and prioritize
- Multiple time-constrained tasks
- System acumen and IT skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Thai with multilingual ability, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines (Project Management Skills).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
