Job Description

We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team of 3, based in our Crooks Road office in East Tamaki.  You will be actively involved in reporting, forecasting, planning, and inventory management for JDE New Zealand to provide customers the coffee and tea that they love!
 

In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Demand Forecasting - Apply best practice, liaise with stakeholders, and utilise SAP/APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) to generate a robust forecast and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Supply Planning - Work with a network of local and international suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels and achieve key supply chain KPI’s. Monitor potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • NPD Management - Work closely with and support the wider team across the new product development cycle to achieve an on time and successful launch, and stable forward supply pipeline.
  • Order fulfilment - Coordinate with Logistics and CS team on order processing and fulfilment to meet DIFOT requirement.
  • Reporting - Generate and analyze regular inventory reports to keep your finger on the pulse and support the attainment of key supply chain KPI’s.  Take ownership of slow-moving inventory by preparing and driving recommendations and action plans to mitigate waste.
  • Continuous Improvement - Identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain and propose and implement solutions.

Qualifications

For this role as a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain planning roles, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Experience working on SAP ERP will be highly regarded.
  • You are analytically focused with the ability to creatively problem solve and simplify the complex.
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple priorities and working autonomously.
  • Valid unrestricted work visa
