Job Description

We are currently looking for a Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) Specialist to support our marketing and coffee solutions teams within JDE Australia. This is a 12-month contract role based in our North Sydney office with hybrid working. The FP&A Specialist will take ownership of marketing related expenditure including budgets, estimations and actual spends, playing a part in decision making by providing sound financial recommendations for new innovations! Are you up for this challenge? 

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with our marketing team and oversee the advertising and promotional (A&P) spend
  • Support business case scenarios and brand planning for new product pipelines and activations
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and balance sheet reconciliations related to the marketing budget
  • Provide disciplined financial recommendations regarding the marketing budget
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders locally and globally to ensure accurate cost control
  • Drive efficiency through process improvements
  • Cover certain assigned month end tasks
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis

Qualifications

For this role as a FP&A Specialist, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You hold tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or similar
  • You have, or are working towards, a CPA or CA qualification
  • Proficient excel skills
  • Experience working with SAP will be highly regarded
  • Experience in a similar role in FMCG will be highly regarded
  • You have sound experience working across various departments and/or with global stakeholders
