Incredible innovations are enabled through Technology, we are seeking a passionate innovator to join our Technology Solutions Global R&D team as Platform Manager Powder & Dairy.

Join an incredible passionate diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. Just how we like it!  As a platform manager for Powder and Dairy you will be asked to create a clear and aligned strategic outlook for the platform and build & execute the future pipeline of ingredient development. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on the interpersonal skillset you have developed over the years. You will play a crucial role in creating and protecting the sustainable delivery we look for in our value chain. You will be responsible for the following :

•  Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the R&D platform strategy for our powder and dairy platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research initiatives with business goals
• Product Innovation: Spearhead the development of novel coffee products, from ideation to commercialization. Leverage your deep understanding of dairy/powder/ingredient science and technology to create breakthroughs.
• Collaboration: Build and foster strong partnerships with suppliers, academia, and industry experts. Drive collaborative research projects and leverage external expertise
• Team leadership: Lead a talented team of experts and specialists. Nurture their growth, inspire creativity and drive results & IP generation

We are looking for an experienced individual with a drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it’s important for you to have a certain level of seniority as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must haves”, however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with leading ingredient development and influencing business plans / business alignment but ultimately we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of proven track record with product development & innovation or process technologies in the food industry (R&D and/or Operations).
• Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills (also nonhierarchical).
• Innovative Mindset: Passion for pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities.
• Business Acumen: Ability to balance technical excellence with commercial viability
