Job Description

Job purpose

Ensure proper operation of the company’s treasury function and bank relationships and minimize level of customer outstanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile invoices and balance with key accounts (via phone, written & personally)
  • Make sure that outstandings are paid in time
  • Participate in customer complaint management
  • Operate credit control, compile lists on receivables
  • Coordinate the settlement of customer deductions (OACR)
  • Calculate bad debt reserve and write-off if necessary
  • Send out and evaluate customer balance letters
  • Cash management: bank transfers, netting, deposits, cash offices
  • Ensure proper accounting of bank statements, incoming payments
  • Forcasting and reporting related to Operating Working Capital KPI
  • Closely cooperate with Controlling team on daily basis and provide support in reporting
  • Participating in monthly closing and group reporting processes with close cooperation of all relevant stakeholders;
  • Participating in performing and/or reviewing the internal controls as per JDE’s internal control framework
  • Acting as a business partner, being active in providing support / consultancy to all relevant stakeholders, having the drive to gain business insight

 

Qualifications

 

  • Master’s / Bachelor degree preferably in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting
  • At least 2 years of experience in field of Finance or Accounting
  • Excellent communication and client oriented problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office skills and related computer knowledge
  • Proactive, independent, and solution-focused mindset
  • Fluent English
