ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Global Web Analyst, you will be a crucial driver of applying data in our decisioning process. You will a vital part of the Global CXO team, by providing the necessary insights that help us building the perfect customer experience. Additionally, you will help the L’Or and Tassimo brand teams with insights that will help them make the right choices. On a day to day basis, you might be checking the performance of new machines sold in Switzerland, wrap-up an AB-test running in Germany and evaluate a new business model for our loyal users in Spain.

The ambition is to have all our crucial decisions driven by data and this position should contribute to that ambition significantly. Your level of detail orientation and analytical skills will help the whole direct to consumer department flourish in data driven decisioning.

The Global CXO team you’ll join is responsible for the customer journeys of L’Or and Tassimo across several different markets in Europe. The team consists of a CXO Manager, a CXO specialist, an intern and front-end developers that all strive to make the user experience as optimal as possible.

Key responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in the process of data driven decisioning in a fast moving online environment;
  • Deliver explorative analyses to discover opportunities;
  • Analyse AB-tests, campaigns, user behaviour patterns;
  • Guide our colleagues internally in their move towards data driven decisioning, by setting measurement plans, KPI’s and analysis requirements;
  • Build dashboarding to demonstrate insights across a global organization and its several local teams.

For this role as a Global Web Analyst, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience / background:

  • A (relevant) bachelor’s or master’s degree;
  • 2-3 years experience in an analytical role such as web analyst, data analyst or similar;
  • Extensive knowledge on (and practical experience in) Google Analytics or similar (required);
  • Excellent English communication skills, oral and written (required);
  • Experience with tag management, Javascript is a plus;
  • Experience with qualitative research tools (Hotjar / Usabilla) and AB-test tools is a plus;
  • Experience in Contentsquare (or comparable) is a plus;
  • Excellent in making data understandable and applicable for commercial purposes;
  • Excellent analytical skills;

However we are willing to look outside the above for the ideal candidate that can drive game changing strategies and tactics. The role is located in the Global eCommerce team in Utrecht.
