Job Description

We are looking for an experienced end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) Officer, or what we call a Control Specialist – AR, to manage the accounts receivable for major national accounts for retail and professional sales. You will be focused on negotiating with customers, managing invoices, allocating payments, and collecting aged debts. You will join an experienced and supportive Finance team based in our North Sydney office with 3 days in the office and 2 days of WFH flexibility.

Are you up for this challenge? 

In this role as AR Officer, you will:

  • Manage debt for major customers in our retail and professional sales channels on a national level, with a focus on following up on and receiving payments to overdue invoices
  • Liaise with customers via email and phone to provide details and information to receive payments, as well as provide solutions to any problems that arise
  • Daily allocations of payments
  • Manage disputes with customers and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Process customer claims and rebates

For this role as an AR Officer, we are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You are a passionate AR professional with at least 2+ years of recent experience
  • Confident in navigating and utilizing SAP
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to collect on aged debt for up to 100+ accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven experience in internal and external stakeholder management
  • Experience on TAS will be highly regarded
