Job Description

As the Controlling Manager FP&A you will directly report to the Finance Director, Poland & Baltics and will lead the team of three direct reports.

You will be responsible for analysis of company financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, providing insights and business drivers and making recommendations to support decision-making process of the Management Team.

You will act as a business partner to Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain to accelerate company’s growth in a compliant and profitable way while delivering and over-delivering its objectives on sales, profit and working capital.

Other responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop team of three Financial Specialists to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all reporting cycles, audit compliance and process improvements
  • Lead consolidation of financial strategic plans, annual budgets and forecasts. Coordinate business review meetings and present financials to the Management Team. Maintain continuous communication and focus so agreed goals are achieved
  • Build strong cross-functional partnership, steer the business through in-depth analysis leading to the identification of opportunities and risks, followed by recommendation of appropriate actions
  • Provide analysis for actual results, evaluate and discuss performance against agreed targets, coordinate preparation of monthly reporting decks and share financial results with broader audience
  • Actively manage costs analysis, identify margin pressures and opportunities due to forex/commodities prices change and propose corrective plans.
  • Drive ongoing adaptation of processes to business requirements and financial system with the focus on efficient cost management
  • Support business, economic and accounting analysis during acquisitions, divestments and restructuring projects
  • Perform regular and strategic ad-hoc financial reporting in order to facilitate decision making and business support

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar position (FMCG industry experience will be a great asset)
  • Master degree in finance (ACCA/CIMA qualification will be an advantage)
  • Fluent English in speaking & writing (C1)
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SAP
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with can do attitude and strong business acumen
  • Accurate, flexible thinking, time management skills, high analytical skills,
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure, act with a sense of urgency 
  • Team player, hands-on, proactive, independent, eager to learn and further develop self and others
  • Overall excellent communication skills
  • Experience in managing team will be an advantage
