Government affairs specialist plays a key role in building sustainable strategic relationships with key stakeholders – government officials, NGOs, community and opinion leaders – in North West region (focus on Leningrad Region and St Petersburg). The role reports to the Head of Corporate Affairs and Government relations.

Job Description

•    Contributes and executes Government Affairs strategy and tactics within North West region;

•    Sustains and develops a network of key stakeholders among regional and local government officials, NGOs, key opinion leaders, community representatives;

•    Supports GA projects and activities related to federal-level stakeholders;

•    Provides inputs and support to business leaders incl. position papers, holding statements, talking points;

•    Monitors and manages key developments in public policy, taxation and overall relevant legislation;

•    Identifies and builds action & mitigation plans to tackle emerging risks and opportunities out public policy and regulatory fields;

•    Leads research and study projects to protect and enhance company position;

•    Builds effective ways of working with internal stakeholders to continuously improve and develop functional effectiveness;

•    Contributes intro overall CGA agenda pillars incl. external communications and ESG.

Qualifications

•   3+ years within Government Affairs in multinational company, local corporate giants or public affairs agency;

•   Track record of successful GA projects both on regional and federal levels;

•   Strong communication & presentation skills;

•   Profound English skills;

•   Good analytical skills;

•   Strong team player;

•   Proactive approach.
