Job Description

This role is a member of the Strategy Realization Office (SRO) within the Global Information Services (GIS) organization.

This role (internally known as SRO Value Analyst) is responsible for the definition, collection, analysis & reporting of the financial aspects in regard to JDE’s portfolio of IT projects. This role allows IT management to be in control of the overall costs in the IT portfolio by providing timely & accurate financial transparency & visibility, and by driving (project) financial predictability and discipline. The responsibilities of this role are:

  • Drive financial monitoring of portfolio execution and data accuracy through direct engagement with PM’s
  • Facilitate monthly (project) forecast routines, consolidate, analyse and address issues
  • Perform project pre-closing financial analysis
  • Design, develop, maintain and monitor reports related to financial aspects of portfolio execution of the projects and programs
  • Report to IT management on the adherence of projects to the financial discipline processes
  • Providing financial guidance and support to IT management during the annual IT project budget planning.

For this role as IT Portfolio Financial Analyst,we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience as financial analyst or controller in medium-large organizations, preferably within IT.
  • 3+ years of experience working closely with or within an EPMO/PMO organization
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience using MS Excel and PowerBI, with excellent analytical and reporting skills on multi-dimensional data
  • 2+ years of experience as SAP business user
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English), demonstrated ability to deliver presentations to  management
