ABOUT THE ROLE

In your role as Tax Data Process & Automation Specialist, you will be part of the Global Tax Reporting Team and contribute to the transformation of the Tax function of JDE into a tax data analytics & tax intelligence function that is ready to drive future changes in a fast-evolving business and tax environment. Projects may be multidisciplinary and you will need to collaborate with these different stakeholders. Moreover, you will be involved in data structuring and analytics, and the building of end-to-end solutions between different source systems and platforms. You will be part of the group’s global tax team, a high-impact team that is closely connected to the CFO and other members of the Executive Committee, and you will be reporting into the Global Tax Reporting Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Co-create and execute the Global IT Roadmap for the Global Tax Team
• Actively participate in the Data Analytics Community to support, connect and liaise with peers throughout business
• Transform (tax) data from a variety of sources and platforms to structured data
• Take part in or lead projects to build and improve systems and processes
• Identify improvements to drive efficiencies and effectiveness of tax data models and monitoring global tax risks, including reporting out, internally and externally
• Execute financial tax data models to analyze tax/transfer pricing trends by country (backward and forward looking).

For this role as a Tax Data Process & Automation Specialist, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting with a good understanding of Tax Accounting or Transfer Pricing, combined with 5-7 years’ relevant work experience in International Tax / Transfer Pricing / Valuations / Finance
• Good knowledge and strong affinity with automated solutions; experience with SAP BPC, Excel, Alteryx and BI tools
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking (driving simplicity)
• Exceptional interpersonal qualities, be pro-active, eager to learn and highly motivated
• Team player with strong verbal communicational skills in English.
