Job Description

The Global IT EPMO Manager is the head of our Global IT Strategy Realization Office (SRO). The mission of this department is to manage JDE’s global portfolio of technology projects & programs, and to continuously improve the portfolio and project management processes & people to ensure a successful realization of our technology strategy.

In this senior role, you will lead a team of 10 professionals in the Strategy Realization Office, and you will be accountable for managing IT demand from ideation to delivery. The responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing end-to-end management of the portfolio of technology programs & projects (from inception to delivery);
  • Leading the centre of excellence defining & implementing project & portfolio management standards, processes, tools and best practices;
  • Driving monthly project portfolio reporting, proving the IT leadership with visibility, control and accountability of the portfolio delivery;
  • Managing governance processes aligning programs and projects with the business and technology strategy;
  • Facilitating successful execution of JDE’s Busines & Technology Strategy Board, where senior business and IT leaders review the strategic programme portfolio and update the global strategic vision.

For this role as Global IT EPMO Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or related discipline with an IT focus; MBA degree or equivalent desirable;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience leading an IT Project & Program Management Organization or EPMO in international organizations;
  • Strong financial knowledge and background;
  • Deep understanding of various project mgmt. & delivery methodologies (certification highly desirable) such as PRINCE2, SAFe, MSP, MoP, P3O or PMP;
  • Effective communication, influencing & negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role.
