Job Description

As Global Manager Enterprise Architecture, you will lead the co-creation of a master architectural plan which brings together business and technology. The scope of Enterprise Architecture spans across business applications and enabling technology platforms, with special focus on the value chain & strategy of our company.

The main deliverables of this role are the creation and enforcement of architecture principles, architecture standards, reference architectures and best practices. In addition, this role delivers the “full picture” insights about JDE’s application and technology landscape in order to identify value opportunities.

As Global IT Enterprise Architecture Manager at JDE, you will be responsible for:  

  • Analysing JDE business and operating models to ensure the architectural plans are fit for our markets
  • Establishing and managing the governance to ensure the adoption and alignment to the architecture guidelines
  • Acting as a thought-leader and actively guiding cross-functional teams, solution architects and platform architects in the organization
  • Providing consultative advice to senior business & technology stakeholders
  • Assessing disruptive forces & emerging trends impacting the organization by identifying technology-enabled innovation opportunities.

Qualifications

We are looking to hire a seasoned Enterprise Architecture Manager with a proven record in driving change in business enterprise technologies within a globally operating company. 

 Our preferred candidate would have: 

  • An academic degree in information-technology or an advanced business degree with specialization in technology
  • Over 10 years of experience in the EA practice in the consumer goods or retail industries
  • Knowledge of technology ecosystems: Cloud platforms (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), Application integration, SOA/API, event-driven IT & analytics
  • Familiarity with information management practices: system-development, life-cycle-management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks
  • Experience as a trusted thought-leader who can influence and persuade senior business and IT management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as communication, teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
  • Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.
