The Financial Controller GBD & IKA Professional supports the Finance Manager GBD Professional by executing the internal reporting, financial forecasting and supports in decision making process of the department by P&L analysis & customer pricing. This role will cooperate with the Finance Manager in executing his/her responsibilities concerning the organization’s accounting policies and the communication of these policies throughout the organization.

As the Financial Controller GBD & IKA Professional, you will report directly to the Finance Manager GBD Professional and you will have no direct reports.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Preparing and providing analyses with financial management information which supports the decision making process of the department.
• Supporting the Finance Manager with internal control process, financial reports and accounting statements.
• Period end close activities, posting journal entries and reconcile accounts and clear analysis with market analysis on key drivers, risks & opportunities.
• Preparing other finance recons, trade spend.
• Creating awareness in all controlling areas towards organization to be complied with company policies.
• Inspiring your colleagues to become more data-driven in their work and thought process.
• Participating in projects.

For this role as a Financial Controller we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• University Degree, preferred with specialization in Finance.
• Experience in both accounting & controlling.
• Excellent business acumen and ability to manage a P&L.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Strong MS Excel skills & Experience in SAP R3.
• Ability to manage a changing workload in a dynamic deadline-driven changing environment.
• Eye for detail.
• Hands-on mentality.

Nice to have:

-        Experience from working in (an international) FMCG (OOH) environment
