Job Description

As the Customer Service & Logistics Operations Manager GBD you manage the Customer Service Export team with 4 direct reports. The Customer Service Export team services the distributors of 2 Marketing and Sales Units, Global Business Development Retail and Global Business Development Professional. 

  • You are the first point of contact for the Global business development teams when it comes to overall Supply Chain topics;
  • You constantly improve capabilities and engagement in the direct and indirect team;
  • Together with your team, you are responsible for a flawless operational Supply Chain execution to the export countries;
  • You will create and align annual operational plan for logistics based on Supply Chain targets in terms of costs, activity scope, projects, priorities and agreed service levels;
  • You will be responsible for Productivity projects pipeline securing continuous improvement;
  • You will ensure the integration of key business processes from supplier to customers to add value for customers and stakeholders;
  • You will manage the E2E information and physical supply chain flow (warehousing, logistics, distribution, documentation) and have continuous alignment with other stakeholders to secure optimal demand and supply at global scale, whilst balancing account efficiency, required flexibility, working capital, quality levels, service levels, company and society values.

For this role as a Customer Service & Logistics Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Masters degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Consulting;
  • You have experience with working in a cross-boundary or multi-cultural environment, with a track record of developing high performance, world class teams;
  • You'll have high level ERP (preferably SAP) skills and experience with export-, processes and documentation;
  • You have experience and proximity to day-to-day supply chain operations;
  • You have experience of process development and improvement;
  • You have analytical skills and an optimistic can-do approach.
