Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Global IT Network & Infra Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations of Data Center, Networks and Hosting Services throughout the whole organization are stable, secure and reliable. While also ensuring that they are with business needs and are consistent/compliant with company values and the company’s business model (“Combined Business Model”).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and continuously improve the “Run Service” model for Network, Data Center and Hosting Services. Act as the escalation point for major “Run Service” issues.
  • Advise the Global IT Head of Service Delivery on IT Operational strategy and deliver input regarding his/her specific responsibilities.
  • Manage relationships with global network and hosting suppliers to ensure efficient day-to-day delivery of Network and Hosting services to the organization, according to defined SLAs. Oversee the definition and implementation of actions to improve Hosting and Network services.
  • Ensure smooth transition of Data Center, networks and Hosting changes from project phase to run phase.
  • Act as Service Owner of Network, Data Center and Hosting Services, Governs Service Review Meetings with Providers, ensuring Service Level Agreements are met.
  • Own the standard change process for Network, Data Center and Hosting Services, responsible for reviewing and approving standard changes raised for all JDE locations and data centers.
  • Ensure clear communication to all stakeholders for service outages, maintenance and upcoming changes.
  • Manage end user training and adoption to ensure all stakeholders have the knowledge required to utilize the tooling available for Network, Data center and Hosting Services.

For this role as a Global IT Network and Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Academic Degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in a quantitative or Computer Science discipline.
  • Experience of managing Network or Data Center Operations and Vendor relationships of large multi-million euro contracts or other IT Operations Manager position for more than 5-7 years.
  • Sound knowledge of IT frameworks like ITIL v3 (2011) and Data Center and Hosting Technologies.
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement of Network Services  and/or Data Center, Hosting environments.
  • Proven experience with various Network technologies (incl. WAN, LAN, VPN, WiFi, Firewalls, MPLS, BGP, DNS/DHCP, IPv6, zScaler, etc.). Cisco and/or Checkpoint experience would be a benefit.
  • Proven experience with various Data Center technologies (incl. VMWare, Oracle, SQL Server, Hyper-V, Storage, Backup, Disaster Recovery, etc.
  • Interact with Business and IT leaders and being able to explain IT in a very simple and understandable way.
