Job Description

Are you a student looking for an Internship starting in September/October? Are you looking for an internship that will offer you an assignment in one of our running projects and that will challenge you with a wide ranging variety of work and opportunity? Are you enrolled in a European University/HBO? If you are, then keep reading!

The Technical Procurement Category covers the sourcing of CAPEX equipment, Energy and Facilities Management. These categories are instrumental for the well-functioning of our plants and support the overall growth agenda for JDE.

In your role as Technical Procurement Intern you will be assisting the category buyer and category manager to accelerate on the below pillars:

  • Category management: global frame agreements and payment terms management
  • Data management: from information to intelligence
  • RFI-RFQ: scope and run tendering process under the direct supervision of the responsible buyer; complete tenders by documenting internally, using the relevant tools

Qualifications

We are looking for a team player a true network builder and eager to learn, confident in Excel and PowerPoint. You should be capable of understanding data and recommend the best decision from an end to end perspective, focusing on the solution required by the business. You are able to make a plan and then diligently work towards executing sub-steps leading to the designed goal. Understanding of procurement basics is needed to succeed.

To be successful in this role you:

  • Need to be enrolled at a University/HBO for the whole duration of the internship.
  • Are highly motivated 
  • Are an excellent communicator
  • Are fluent in English
  • Are inquisitive, pro-active, confident, analytical and prepared to work in a fast-paced, dynamic international environment.

Additional Information

The monthly internship allowance is € 450,- for a HBO student or € 500,- for a WO student, based on a fulltime 40 hour workweek. The internship starts around September/October 2022, and is for a period of 6 months.

The recruitment process contains an online assessment test and a final interview in Utrecht.
