Job Description

The Investor Relations (IR) department fulfils a central role at listed companies. The department supports the Executive Committee in the strategic and financial external positioning, reporting and communication vis à vis equity analysts, investors and other external stakeholders such as ESG rating agencies. The department acts as the first point of contact towards analysts and investors to explain the company's results and strategy, as well as to provide feedback to senior management on the financial markets' view of the company. Moreover, the department monitors, reports and analyses market and sector dynamics, in addition to peer performance and practices.

The Investor Relations Analyst plays a crucial role for the IR function and ultimately acts as the trusted partner for the Director IR. Experience in this line of work is a plus, however not required as it can be easily compensated by a high level of eagerness to build skills and capabilities in this space coupled with having an above-average level of analytical & communication skills (verbally and in writing), flexibility and pragmatism.

In this role you will:

  • Plan & coordinate the semi-annual external reporting process and create, based on performance analysis together with various internal disciplines, the content for the corporate docs related to the external reporting process (e.g. internal back-up book, presentation, Q&A, script etc)
  • Create various analysis and reports to feed back all relevant information from financial markets to the senior leadership team
  • Monitor and analyse financial and strategic performance and practices of the peer group together with other relevant disciplines within the company
  • Coordinate ESG information flow to ESG ratters and other entities within financial markets asking for ESG content
  • Over time, start to act as the first point of contact for in- and outbound interaction with the analysts
  • Ensure that the content on the IR web pages is complete and accurate on a day-to-day basis and proactively advise on what content should be added, changed or deleted.

For this role as an Investor Relations Analyst, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 2-5 years of Finance experience
  • Strong mix of financial expertise, business acumen, communication and relationship skills
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality results, with a strong eye for detail, in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior management or executive levels and to effectively navigate through different levels within the organization
  • Customer-centric approach
  • Team player mentality
  • Strong in planning and structured way of working.
