Job Description

An opportunity to join our Hummingbird team has opened and we are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Machine Operator/Production Specialist.

This is a fixed term contract, starting asap through to end August 2022. 

• Shift time will be Monday to Friday working 5:00am - 1:30pm with possibility of flex/rotation
• Critical role in producing our outstanding Hummingbird Coffee.
• Follow precise processes to ensure unrelenting finished goods quality.
• Use your attention to detail and time management skills to maximise machine productivity. and performance.
• Learn and master multiple coffee filling machines.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Help us find new ways to make our products even better!

To be the best Machine Operator, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• A strong mechanical mind and the ability to think through a problem and to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• A self-motivated individual with high internal standards
• Must have acute attention to detail, be process driven and take pride in your work
• An absolute hunger for knowledge and learning. 
• Commitment to work the entirety of the contract, giving it your best
• Full drivers license and Forklift F Endorsement a plus.
• Physically fit with the ability to undertake repetitive tasks & high speed packing at times  
• Must be based in Christchurch, ready to start with working rights in New Zealand
