Job Description

The role will make a key contribution to the delivery of annual and strategic plans for the Professional business unit partnering with General Manager and the Management Team. The HRBP is a core member of the UK&I HR team and, as such, will collaborate with all aspects of that team: Talent & Learning, Talent Acquisition, HR Services and Compensation and Benefits. The role holder will also become a member of the international Professional HR Community.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Partnering the organisation to deliver core aspects of the People Agenda in Professional, such as first class individual development planning, succession planning, internal/external hiring and performance coaching and improvement
  • Championing Associate engagement within the business unit in line with global and local people priorities
  • Ensuring high quality and disciplined execution of annual people processes, such performance appraisals and talent reviews, working with the Talent and Learning Manager, UK&I and salary and bonus reviews.
  • Leading the team effectiveness agenda for the UK&I Management Team.
  • Lead the Field Engagement and Wellbeing agendas, proactively partnering with the global HR community within Professional (for best practice sharing and learning)
  • Partnering with Finance Manager on monthly management of personnel cost base (within set targets and business revenues) and quarterly reporting on people KPIs

Qualifications

Must have:

  • Strong HR generalist background
  • Experience of sitting on a cross-functional Management Team
  • Experience of delivering and embedding change within a fast moving environment
  • Experience of coaching and challenging line managers
  • Self starter who is confident with complexity and ambiguity
  • Knowledge of P&L levers
  • Numerically and analytically confident
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of UKI employment legislation

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of B2B sales in a branded industry
