Job Description

The Global IT EPMO Manager is the head of our Global IT Strategy Realization Office. The mission of this department is to accelerate the value creation and cost optimization of technology initiatives though managing our portfolio of projects & programs, and guiding their delivery in an optimised and controlled manner using best practices.

This role leads a team of 10+ professionals in the Strategy Realization Office, and is accountable for the end-to-end management of the IT Project and Program portfolio, which consists of business-led and IT-led initiatives, running in either Waterfall or Agile.

This role leads the department who defines, implements & controls PPM (Project & Portfolio Management) methods & approaches, and runs end-to-end portfolio management, including facilitation of the demand cycle, controlled portfolio delivery management and value analysis.

Qualifications

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or related discipline with an IT focus; MBA degree or equivalent desirable;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience leading an IT Project & Program Management Organization or EPMO;
  • Strong financial knowledge and background;
  • Deep understanding of various project mgmt. & delivery methodologies (certification highly desirable) such as PRINCE2, SAFe, MSP, MoP, P3O or PMP;
  • Effective influencing & negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role.
