Job Description

To strengthen our Human Resources team in Greece, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Human Resources Specialist to provide broad spectrum generalist HR management to JDE Greece for all our three businesses: Retail, Professional & Operations.  

The role spans across all HR core processes; including Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, as well as Talent Management, Learning & Development, Engagement & Culture and reports to HR Business Partner, Greece.

When in the role,

  • You will be acting as a Recruitment Partner for JDE Greece, in close collaboration with line managers to deeply understand business needs while overseeing in full all our Talent Acquisition signature processes
  • You will administer the full employee lifecycle, from hire to retire, including Compensation & Benefits, Personnel Administration & Payroll, in close partnership with our outsourced payroll provider, while ensuring compliance with corporate, state and local legal requirements
  • You will be supporting our Performance Management, as well as our Learning & Development Roadmap through monitoring, tracking, evaluation of progress, assessment of knowledge gaps and facilitation of trainings
  • You will co-pilot initiatives to support our culture and drive our associates’ engagement such as our EVP and our Engagement Survey process & action planning
  • You will ensure that HR technology tools are fully utilised, that HR data standards are enforced and that provided analytics can effectively support our business initiatives.

Qualifications

 

  • 3-5 years proven experience in an international HR environment, preferably FMCG
  • BSc/BA Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business or other related discipline, MA/MSc will be considered an asset
  • Comprehensive HR technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills & hands-on approach
  • Strong command, written and verbal, of both in English and Greek
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Positive and solution-oriented attitude with problem solving skills, a ‘can do’ approach and a great team player spirit.
  • Intuitive and forward thinking with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to act with integrity to uphold high standards with regards to data and personnel matters
  • Ability to work autonomously and track multiple processes
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
