As part of our Research, Development and Operations (RD&O) organization, the JDE Procurement function is on a journey to transition into a world-class procurement organization delivering excellence for all JDE business ambitions. In the career opportunity of Global Procurement Manager Media & Ad Technology, you wil have a senior role in the JDE Global Procurement team reporting to the Global Procurement Director Media, Marketing, HR & Professional Services. In this role, you manage a key category and are closely connected to the global marketing team and the JDE markets, as you will provide guidance and insight into JDE’s global media implementation and investment plans. Your workplace will be our Amsterdam-office, but you will be also be travelling abroad for meetings and visits to JDE offices around the world.

In this role, you will: 

• Create and lead the implementation of category sourcing strategy for Media
• Proactively manage global supplier relationships to deliver continuous cost, quality and cash results 
• Measure and benchmark performance to ensure that JDE has the most competitive quality and cost base
• Support senior management in marketing and business with relevant insights and input to build annual operation plans and to implement media on a global level
• Develop digital and performance marketing media KPI’s together with Marketing and digital functions and implements the TCO approach on digital. 
• Drive innovation programs in your category to continually search for value improvement opportunities
• Support JDE E-commerce business in selection, contracting and management of a diverse portfolio of tech, data and marketing services suppliers, including small businesses and start-up’s
• Establishes and analyses performance metrics to evaluate (supplier) performance

For this job opening, our preferred candidate would have: 

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in media procurement, could include relevant agency-side experience
• An excellent track record of delivering best in class cost and cash results
• Intentional and have a can-do mindset and get energy from working together with others
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally and international environment and understand and speak the business and marketing language
• An ability to work and make fact-based analyses and decisions at pace is really important
• Excellent communication, networking, influencing and negotiation skills
• Is a thought leader in his/her area, stays on top of new industry developments and demonstrably adds value to the Global Procurement team
