Job Description

The Business Intelligence Specialist is part of the Global eCommerce Team. 

Our Global JDE eCommerce team is a combination of young, experienced and engaged digital experts. We are responsible for developing and delivering our Global JDE eCommerce strategy. We work in close collaboration with local business units (markets) and global departments (marketing, finance, market research…) . You will work within the eCommerce Center of Excellence (CoE) Team and report to the Global eCommerce Manager. As a BI business partner to the CoE team you will support the team with superior data driven insights to deliver our short and long term business goals and will help us embed a data driven mindset within the entire team.

Key to this role is having a good understanding of the eCommerce business and landscape for beverages, leveraging the right tools and data available both internally and externally for identifying the growth opportunities and share smart insights and recommendations with CoE Team, markets and leadership team.

You will have a key role to play in improving the team’s digital maturity and building data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities:

•    Data analytics and insights: Pro-actively deliver data driven insights, from which MarketShares, Perfect e-Shelf KPIs, Sales and Operations KPIs, Forecasting… to support business decisions
•    Data in DNA: Support in building, maintaining and evolving JDE’s eCommerce data infrastructure and utilize it to make easy to use BI dashboards & tools to make JDE a data driven organization. 
•    Leverage the JDE data lake to connect new data sources to deliver new valuable insights
•    Standardized data & analytics framework : Drive change by delivering new insights and recommendations together with other colleagues within eCommerce Category Manager, Finance manager, Grocery on-line, PurePlay and MarketPlace channels leaders. 
•    Be the key contact with external data partners and develop JDE eCom KPIs dashboards  bringing the right data visualizations to enable quick and actionable insights 
•    Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of executions and sales reports to the global leadership team and local eCommerce organizations. 
•    Support the Marketplace and Sales Operations teams with quality dashboard and monitoring of sales to improve further the forecasting accuracy

To be successful in this role, it is required of you to have:
•    Fluent in English
•    A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics or IT or data analytics or marketing or finance or engineering with a demonstrated passion for digital sales, marketing and data science
•    3-5 years of experience preferably in a FMCG and/or eCommerce environment.
•    An individual who is able to interpret data well, adept in story-telling with data and has advanced knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Alterix, Phyton, SQL, Google data studio or other dashboarding solutions 
•    Good knowledge of eCommerce performance analytics platforms (e.g. Profitero, Edge..) is a real plus
•    Business acumen combined with strong analytical skills, disciplined and accountable, team player, entrepreneurship, ability to work and get things done in a matrix environment 
•    Strong communicator, i.e. can translate complex matters into simple, understandable messages across different seniority levels
•    Ability to work with large structured and unstructured data and discover hidden relationships
•    Ability to multi-task and work seamlessly in multi-cultural and multi-functional environment
•    Likes taking the lead, good in planning and organization skills, and has ability to bring people from diverse functions together to align on and execute value adding data projects.
