Job Description

Working within our Global Procurement Excellence team in Utrecht, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting in various areas of the Source-To-Pay process.
  • Providing analytical and administrative support to the buyers.  
  • Supporting monthly performance analysis and reporting
  • Performing market and spend analysis
  • Facilitating the material costing process
  • SAP contract and price maintenance / management.

Specific assignment:

Review and improve our semi-automated processes by providing a process outline, optimizing the logical steps and streamlining the core functionalities.

The end goal is to have processes that are clear and easy to understand and explain to different internal parties, making them re-usable and scalable for further improving our business processes

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you need to: 

  • Enrolled at a University/HBO related to Supply Chain, Procurement, Economics, Engineering, for the whole duration of the internship
  • Be fluent English; spoken and written.
  • Have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, SAP experience is a plus
  • Have analytical skills
  • Be accurate, flexible, time management skills
  • Be hands-on and proactive; eager to learn and further develop; acts with a sense of urgency.

For this internship at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS a standard compensation applies. This internship is for a 6-month period and starts in April 2021. It is a full time internship but 4 days can be discussed. Only students still registered at college (HBO)/university (WO) during the whole internship period will be considered. An online assessment is part of the selection process.
