Job Description

The Global Accounts team plays a crucial role in establishing win-win partnerships with strategic international retailers. In your role as Intern Global Accounts Management, you will be in charge of analysing data across countries, customers and segments, compiling examples & feedback across countries. You will be in frequent contact with our local sales teams across the world to collect, verify and share crucial information necessary for the management of our international accounts.

Through your work you will gain a holistic view on the international retail market and the dynamics between manufacturer and retailer. Your tasks will consist of :

·        Support of the International Account Managers in diverse administrative tasks

·        Contact local sales teams across our geographies frequently to collect and verify information (turnover evolutions, market shares, counterparts tracking , …)

·        Follow-up of international agreements and internal reporting

·        Calculate ROI on international agreements and share best practices amongst the teams

·        Work on data sharing from international customers: extraction, communication and improvement of data quality

·        Preparation of internal and external meetings and conferences

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you need to be:

  • a bright, articulate and professional student who would like to complete an intensive internship in a global sales organization for a leading FMCG business
  • follow one of Master's program such as Business Administration, Business Economics or equivalent
  • enthusiastic and pro-active
  • good social and communication skills with excellent English proficiency both in writing and in speaking
  • strong analytical skills
  • proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience from other internships, preferably in other FMCG companies before, is considered a plus
  • able to start in March 2021.

For this internship at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS a standard compensation applies. This internship is for a 6 month period. It is a full time internship but 4 days can be discussed. Only students still registered at a business school /university (WO) during the whole internship period will be considered. An online assessment is part of the selection process.
