Job Description

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a business savvy Account Executive to join our national retail sales team.

The National Account Executive – Woolworths is a critical role for our business and will be responsible for providing support to the National Sales Manager for our Woolworths account. As an important member of the retail sales team, you will have the opportunity to learn industry best practices in account management in a supportive and results driven environment.

Key focus areas for this role include:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across a broad range of teams within the Woolworths business including Metro, B2B, Cartology, Woolies X and Food Co.
  • Collaboratively develop joint business plans with Woolworths to ensure we have solid plans that aligns priorities and opportunities for all
  • Account Management of the Statewide, B2B and online channels including promotional programs, NPD ranging and trade investment
  • Liaise closely with Woolworths Supply Chain & key customer service staff (VRP) to ensure acceptable service levels are achieved with Woolworths.

For this role as National Account Executive – Woolworths, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience;

  • Experience with high volume and fast paced sales where multitasking is part of everyday life
  • A business mind with the ability to act as a leader with simplicity, accountability and entrepreneurialism
  • Well-developed commercial, financial and negotiation skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, try new things, make decisions and forge a way forward
  • The ability to forge and grow solid and robust business relationships
  • Think creatively, whilst practising exceptional attention to detail and discipline
  • Previous FMCG exposure and experience highly regarded
