You will be responsible for:

• Keeping up to date with coffee and market trends
• Further brewing our internal love and passion for coffee (and a little tea too of course) Showcase our incredible portfolio of coffee offerings to our Customers (think beans, instant, liquid and more)
• Utilise coffee expertise to support all coffee formats and brands
• Design and deliver coffee training packages to meet needs of customers and internal stakeholders
• Impart coffee knowledge and expertise to colleagues
• Deliver coffee tastings in office locations (Gordon and Kingsgrove + others as needed)

For this role as our Coffee Ambassador, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• Extensive expertise in core coffee related fields (i.e. Roasting, sourcing, blending, tasting, barista training, café operations, retail/wholesale sales)
• Previous coffee industry experience in either a sales/barista or product development role
• Strong capability to be an expert trainer (Experience with the development, implementation and management of training plans is ideal)
• Commercial acumen with strong analytical skills
• Ability to persuade and coach with strong presentation skills
• Affinity and ability to build an expert coffee palate (Demonstrated through successful results on the Firmenich taste test)
• Ability to co-ordinate own priorities with the conflicting priorities of others, self-manage time, work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines and work in a team
• Strong focus on the customer/client and a proactive attitude to assisting them
• Food safety  / Food tech background/ qualifications will be highly regarded
