Job Description

JDE Supply Chain is at the heart of the Operations flows, managing Logistics of products coming out of our factories and suppliers, shipped into our warehouses, stored, picked and shipped our to Trade customers. The Finance team is partnering with the Supply Chain function to support full service to customers, at competitive cost and cash performance.

Trading Co is a Central Entity of JDE Operations, representing the Dutch Principal company KDE BV, owner of all Finished goods inventory and acting as seller to the local Marketing Sales units. All Intercompany transactions related to finished goods are captured in the books of the Trading Co. Accurate, timely and compliant accounting of P&L and Balance sheet are key in this operationally dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities

You will be working in a shared position between Supply Chain Finance and Trading Co., supporting Supply Chain with monthly Management Reporting, optimizations, set-up of new reports around Co-packing and Pallet Cost. For Trading Co, you will be supporting with daily tasks, such as Proforma invoicing, Balance sheet reviews, among other things.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you need to be:

  • Student enrolled in BSc or MSc education looking for an internship or project (graduation projects can be discussed)
  • To be considered for this position, you need to be enrolled in BSc or MSc education during the full period of the internship.
  • Finance, business administration, controlling direction
  • You like to work with numbers, accurate, analytical
  • Team player, enthusiastic, pro-active and curious
  • Start date March 2021

For this internship at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS a standard compensation applies. This internship is for a 6-month period and starts in January 2021. It is a full time internship but 4 days can be discussed. Only students still registered at college (HBO)/university (WO) during the whole internship period will be considered. An online assessment is part of the selection process.
