The JDE eCommerce department is in the middle of the Agile journey. As a scrum master of the two teams LOR and Tassimo you serve as a facilitator for the teams and the PO’s. It’s a challenging role that demands a distinct personality type to be successful – in larger part because the scrum master has no management authority and not commits to the work on behalf of the team.

As Scrum Master at JDE, you will be responsible for:

• 2 Scrum teams to work and deliver in the most efficient way.
• Making sure the team knows about the basics of scrum and implementing those.
• Promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.
• Working together with the Product Owners of the teams towards the end-result whilst focusing on the team’s productivity.
• Making the teams excel, giving full credits to the teams and having a natural leadership style.
• Creating transparency, making sure the people are engaged and act as the buffer between the team and the environment where needed.
• Helping the team become predictable in their deliverables.
• Building the trust within the team & within the organization.
• Making sure the team has time to work on improvements.
• Helping team to become fully self-organized, responsible and accountable.
• Continuously working on team and cross team performance for delivering maximum value.
• Collaborating with the team, other SM’s, MT, PO, other stakeholders.
• Coaching the individual team members, providing feedback, giving compliments and suggest possible improvements.

For this role as a Scrum Master, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• 2-3 years of experience in coaching and guiding Scrum teams
• PS I (Professional Scrum master I) training and certification is a plus.
• Knows the theory behind scrum and has experience applying it properly.
• Is a true team-player and knows how to achieve results in a collaborative manner.
• Is curious and active.
• Has the ability to act autonomously.
• Has the ability to understand the dynamics of the team and handle accordingly.
• Is decisive and has the ability to challenge stakeholders.
• Likes to come up with creative solutions and possibilities.
• Has great communication skills, good listening skills and can give feedback in a constructive manner.
