Job Description

As a Sales Controlling Specialist you will be responsible for support and cooperation with the FP&A Manager by providing direction and support to the financial analysis, coordinating the sales reporting and commission/incentive processes and collaborating with Sales Department and Internal Controller to support the achievement of business objectives and ensuring internal control compliance.

Other responsibilities:

  • Managing total trade spend (gross-to net investments) in the financial systems to ensure appropriate accounting treatment, in line with contracts and internal guidelines
  • Support Sales in annual contract negotiations by evaluating financial impact of new trade terms and net prices, tracking and comparing versus budget
  • Reviewing the contractual and promo spend on a regular basis, approve settlements, releases and corrections
  • Supporting recurring financial processes (i.e. monthly close, forecast, annual budget) by providing fact-based insights into volume / pricing variances, trends analysis and customer profitability
  • Business partnering and collaboration with Sales to develop and embed procedures and work flows of transactions
  • Providing sales data, monitor and reporting net prices to headquarters
  • Maintaining and improving existing finance processes to ensure data integrity, efficient and insightful analysis

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Finance or Accounting degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar position
  • Knowledge of SAP or other accounting system
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English (at least B2)
  • Communication adapting style & strong analytical mindset
  • Assertive, challenging status quo, determined
