Job Description

As the Global IT Network Service Manager, you will be a part of the IT Services and Operations team. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day IT Network services delivered by network suppliers for the entire JDE organisation and for continuously improving the provided Services.

As a Global IT Network Service Manager at JDE, you will be responsible for:  

  • Managing the end-to-end network services provided by suppliers to all JDE locations worldwide; 
  • Monitoring if SLA’s are adequately managed and reported by the suppliers;
  • Managing contracts and budgets with suppliers, ensuring services are delivered in line with agreements and meet local legal requirements; 
  • Overseeing the implementation of actions to improve network services and standardisation of processes used between suppliers, JDE and third parties;
  • Participating in projects and ensuring a smooth transition of network changes;
  • Overseeing the continuous availability, capacity, performance and security monitoring of all network equipment and software across JDE worldwide.

Our preferred candidate would have: 

  • A bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in a quantitative, Computer Science or Network discipline;
  • Over five years of experience in (global) network operations and service management;
  • Experience with various network technologies (incl. WAN, LAN, VPN, WiFi, Firewalls, MPLS, BGP, DNS/DHCP, IPv6, zScaler),  Professional network management certification, such as a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), is a pre; 
  • Extensive knowledge of IT frameworks like ITIL, ITIL certification; 
  • Experience interacting with different cultures and managing virtual teams;
  • The ability to speak and write English on a professional level;
  • Well-developed people and stakeholder management skills;
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
