Job Description

Your main responsibility is to provide market and data insights to the sales team in order to evaluate our current business. By using and creating the right tools you ensure not only the continuous follow-up of our results but you also develop an optimal future way of working.

On a daily basis you

  • gather data from Nielsen, GfK, Sell-In data, field data, store data,… and transform them into usable insights for the sales department
  • keep an eye on the overall evolution of our retailers by comparing their performances, understanding the drivers behind the results and pointing out issues as well as opportunities
  • use the available tools (Nielsen Answers, SAP, Power BI), optimize the use of these tools and ultimately create one dashboard integrating all sources
  • act as the Business Process Owner of our internal sales and promo planning tool (XTel) by keeping an eye on the optimal use of the tool and continuously enhancing the content of the tool. You also act as the key contact on local and global level with respect to this XTel tool
  • collaborate with Key Account Managers, Category Managers and Trade Marketeers to understand the business needs in order to develop the right tools to be used
  • follow-up our in-store execution through our Opex & Perfect Store KPI’s and share results with the sales team and broader JDE community
  • share your insights with the rest of the JDE community on a regular basis

For this role as a Sales Insight Analyst, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You have a Master degree with a commercial orientation (or equivalent experience)
  • You have FMCG experience
  • You possess strong analytical skills and work with high accuracy
  • You are eager to dive into data and to keep looking for new insights
  • You are interested in working with existing tools and building new ones
  • You have good project management skills and are result driven
  • You embrace process enhancements, initiatives for change and innovations
  • You have entrepreneurial spirit and a pro-active mindset
  • You have excellent communication skills and understand the needs of the business
  • You are fluent in Dutch/ French / English
