Belgium Retail Financial Controller prepares, provides and analyses financial management information which supports the decision making process of the marketing department, the Finance Director and the full Management Team.

The position reports to BE Retail Finance Director . 1 Business controller and 1 Finance Specialist reports into the Financial Controller.

In this role , you will be responsible :

• Financial reporting towards business unit and corporate (forecast, quarterly period end closing, AOP)
• Preparing , composing, analysing the overall info : reviews of actual figures , planning and forecasting
• Bring together the teams and manage the AOP process ; at local and corporate level
• Act as true and hands-on Business Partner for Marketing and Sales
• Budget control on A&P , promo plans and shopper  
• Ownership of P&L for certain product group
• Representing finance in project groups
• Work with multidisciplinary steerco teams on business cases and new product activations
• Play his/her full role in the Controlling team:
• Be responsible for the internal controls under his/her responsibility
• Handle any adhoc questions about financial processes, administrative processing and reporting
• Motivate his/her team

For this role, we are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• University degree
• 6-8 years of relevant Finance working experience
• Excellent Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills (accuracy and speed)
• Team spirit, result and solution oriented
• Determined , assertive and diplomatic at the same time
• English and Dutch and/or French

Nice to have:

• Experience in a FMCG environment
• SAP experience
• Keen to improve processes and embrace new technologies e.g. Robotics
