This transformation is operated by the department of Global Information Services (GIS), which operates in three areas of expertise: Service & Operations, Enterprise Solutions and Strategy & Planning.

As the Global IT Service Manager OT, you will be a part of the IT Services and Operations team. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day IT infrastructure and security services delivered to our manufacturing units worldwide and for continuously improving the provided Services.

In this role, you will be responsible for:  

• The delivery of provided IT services (Infrastructure and Security) to the JDE manufacturing units
• Ensuring consistent delivery and quality of services of internal IT and external vendors
• Advising manufacturing units on provided services that can help with standardization and modernization of their security and server infrastructure
• The implementation and adoption of security principles in manufacturing units worldwide
• Requirements analysis and translation of these requirements to the internal IT teams and external vendors
• Continuous improvement of the provided services.

Our preferred candidate would have: 

• A bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline
• A track record of managing IT Operations and Vendor relationships of large multi-million euro contracts for at least 5-7 years
•   Knowledge and experience of managing IT operations within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of IT frameworks like ITIL v3
• A proven track record in continuous improvement of IT Services
• Ability to interact with Business and IT leaders and being able to explain IT in a very simple and understandable way
• Experience at managing virtual teams globally and interacting with different cultures
• The ability to speak and write English on a professional level
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
