Job Description

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a savvy and switched on eCommerce sales superstar to join the JDE ranks, working closely with our experienced Retail National Account team to continue driving our growth in the eCommerce channel. 

Our NAM eCommerce will need to:

  • Foster relationships with our major online customers through effective business partnering & sales execution.
  • Lead & drive the sales strategy with our online customer accounts, ensuring excellent execution of the JDE local & global eCommerce strategy
  • Drive growth for JDE brands and categories over the short and long-term, in line with our brand & category strategies
  • Seek out & unlock new opportunities for growth, among emerging online customers
  • Negotiate and align joint business plans, with regular business and KPI reviews
  • Negotiate pricing strategy and promotions, successfully execute NPD launches, facilitate product portfolio management. 
  • Partner digital marketing team to execute brand activations with online customers
  • Deliver on internal business planning and reporting commitments.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as our digital marketing, category and shopper teams, retail sales managers, finance, supply chain and new business ventures teams. 
  • Be data driven, having knowledge and experience with performance marketing and digital media including web, eShop, CRM, social, SEO and SEM
  • Show your passion and knowledge for the online consumer journey and the role our brand and customers play in succeeding in this dynamic growth channel.

For this role as our National Account Manager eCommerce, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • A deep understanding of the eCommerce and digital landscape and the demand, fulfilment and performance review processes behind it 
  • Experience in managing & winning with accounts across eGrocery, Pure Play, Marketplace & Direct to Consumer channels
  • Be creative and show your passion for the online sales channel and consumer journey  
  • Ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders and partners internally and externally
  • Commercial know-how, an analytical mind and strong sales acumen
  • Ability and track record of success in building enduring customer relationships
