Job Description

JDE is the leader of retail coffee market in Ukraine and is focusing on driving further coffee growth addressing the key consumer needstates and key coffee category trends. Considering Single Serve (Coffee Capsules) being the top growing category in Western Europe, we believe there's huge potential behind coffee capsules business in Ukraine. Therefore we expect Business Development Manager to set-up a successuful business model for Coffee Capsules in JDE UA&EECA to deliver longtrem strategic growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivers category PnL vs AOP and in line with category and brands' strategy
  • Develops, launches and manages e-comm model and content for Single Serve category (both machines & capsules):
  1. Direct-to-consumer business model and the key channels within (incl and not limited to web, mobile, messengers etc);
  2. Partnership with key e-comm retailers;
  3. Sets up the way and system for product fulfillment
  • Develops longterm category strategy, including:
  1. Evaluation and analysis of available strategy within other JDE units
  2. Clear understanding of UA business opportunities based on competitive environment, consumer consumption habits etc
  3. Evaluating current product portfolio & opportunities to extend into new flavors / formats / machines range
  4. Communication strategy for the category addressing key stages across CDJ (Consumer Decision Journey)
  • CRM database creation and management to use effectively within communication strategy
  • In cooperation with Sales negotiates and set-ups with distributor the route-to-market, value chain, trade terms for machines range
  • In cooperation with Sales Strategy develop efficient promo offers for DTC and specifically across different DTC channels
  • Based on global category and brand strategy develops and amplifies communication assets and efficient media strategy to activate machines + capsules through CDJ
  • Maintains relationship with creative agency partners and local media team, as well as central marketing and category team

Qualifications

  • Being true coffee lover
  • Master's degree in Economics or Marketing
  • Experience in Brand Marketing or Shopper Marketing (2+ years on Senior position)
  • Experience in e-commerce / IT product development (2+ years on Senior position)
  • Certified Digital Marketing (will be a big plus)
  • Managing branded e-comm business (pure marketplaces are out of scope) and process management experience
  • Commercial & enterpreneurial mindset, strong analytical, communication & negotiations skills, effective team player
  • Fluent Ukrainian, Russian and English
  • PC skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
