Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Key Account Manager, Greece who will join our Retail business. The Key Account Manager (KAM) is mainly responsible for managing and developing the number of the key-accounts on local level and improving the results of the local key accounts. 

Reporting to National Accounts & Shopper Marketing Manager Greece, you will be based in Athens and responsible for:

  • Developing sales strategies, aimed at achieving or surpassing pre-determined sales objectives for supporting the growth of the company’s business (WD, range, shelf, activation, revenue management)
  • Developing & maintaining strong relationships with large national distribution accounts and overseeing the expansion of sales by identifying opportunities to further expand the business
  • Coordinating effectively with many of the company’s functions (Field Sales, Finance, Supply Chain etc.) to provide the best possible service required to customers & business needs
  • Managing assigned budget to achieve annual volume/value objectives and analysing customers profile to support business proposals

For this role as a Key Account Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or relevant; an MBA or Master will be considered an asset
  • Solid experience in a supervisory level sales position for at least 3 years
  • Business acumen combined with an entrepreneurial approach; ability to identify and act upon business opportunities
  • Fluency both in English and Greek
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with a market-oriented approach and proven record of successful negotiations with customers
  • Strong analytical & numerical skills
