Functieomschrijving

As a Supply Chain Coordinator you will be part of the Customer Service Export team, within the supply chain department. You will be working in a dynamic international environment. The team is serving Retail & Professional distributors worldwide (~50 countries).
The Customer Service Export team is responsible for the total order-to-cash process. The team is an important link between our internal JDE organization and our international distributors. In the role of Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be main point of contact for a selected group of international distributors regarding operational matters. For example order placement, logistical planning, export documentation and invoicing.

You interact independently with internal and external stakeholders, to represent the interests of the customer. It is a dynamic role, with a high degree of autonomy with regard to classifying and prioritizing your work. A proactive attitude and good communication skills are required. 

Your key tasks during your internship:

  • Order management;
  • Identify and apply the best solutions for our distributors, based on best practices in customer service and logistics;
  • Intensive cooperation with logistics service providers in Europe & Export business team (Retail & Professional);
  • Continuously working on improvement of our service level;
  • Preparation of weekly & monthly reports; 
  • Proactive looking at optimization of current Supply Chain flows

Functie-eisen

To be successful in this role you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University ( Bachelor’s study) for the whole duration of the internship. You describe yourself as a team player, who is strongly interested in Supply Chain topics and wants to develop key internal & external stakeholder management skills. 

You are highly motivated, an excellent communicator, fluent in Dutch & English, inquisitive, analytical and prepared to work in a fast-paced, dynamic international environment .

The internship starts around end of February or beginning of March, and is for a period of 4-6 months. Exact starting date and hours can be discussed, preferably not a graduate thesis internship. 

We expect you to be available for ideally 5 days per week (4 days can be discussed).

You will report into the Senior Customer Service Export Specialist.
