Job Description

The Regional Project & Program Delivery Manager Asia is part of the Global Innovation & Program Delivery department, which is structured in Global Innovation Delivery teams per category and Regional Project Delivery teams assigned to the regions. Whereas the innovation delivery teams focus on delivering the large (A/B) Innovations for the category, the project delivery team focus on the delivery of larger regional renovation projects. Additionally, they support the regional implementation of the large innovation project.

The Regional Project & Program Delivery Manager reports to Global Director Innovation & Program Delivery.

The primary responsibilities of the Project & Program Delivery Manager Asia, is managing the team of Project Delivery Managers (2 people) running the large regional renovation projects and who are responsible for their delivery to market. At the same time the P&PD manager drives & owns the organisation of the regional innovation & growth program, enabling & supporting its delivery, reporting on its progress and the integration within JDE’s overall Integrated innovation & growth Program. Additionally, the Project & Program Delivery Manager is responsible for the embedding in the region of the global business growth processes I4G and A4E.

The primary responsibilities of Regional Project & Program Delivery Manager Asia consist of 3 elements:

  • Manages the team of Regional Project Delivery Managers that manage and deliver the large regional renovation projects to market and support the implementation of the global category innovation projects.
  • Manages & owns the organization of the Regional Innovation & Growth Program, its tracking and reporting.
  • Responsible for the embedding of the global innovation business processes I4G and A4E across the region.

Additionally, when required the Project & Program Delivery Manager will run projects himself/herself.

Responsibilities:

Team

  • Manage the Regional Project Delivery Team for Asia, ultimately responsible for the projects to be delivered on time, in quality (OTIQ).
  • Establish and builds a high performing team which fits well with in the Asian Region business and has an excellent alignment within the Innovation & Program Delivery Department.

Program

  • Drive the overall Innovation & Growth Program, managing its delivery and alignment with the overall JDE integrated Innovation & Growth agenda.
  • Responsible to continuously manage the program, resources and budget and signal (anticipated) deviations.
  • Facilitate the monthly Asia Innovation & Growth Steer Co to drive Innovation & Growth program in Asia.
  • Managing the key program alignment with the business and other relevant partners like R&D and Operations.
  • As member of the Asia Management team, work with function heads to ensure strong Innovation program outcomes by supporting the optimization of cross-functional WoW in newly integrated businesses.

Process & Project Management

  • Facilitate the monthly Regional A4E Meeting and prepare the pre-reads and outputs.
  • Set up the Asia training calendar and conduct regular I4G/A4E process and JDE Project Management training to support the regional innovation community in the delivery of the local I4G C/D and A4E projects.
  • Keep oversight of, and provides support with process compliance for the region, working with cross-functional heads and project teams to drive the quality of project documentation and content at the gates.
  • Set up and drive monthly Innovation Clinics for Asia.
  • Drives operational excellence of the innovation process throughout the Regional organization in alignment with the central IBPO.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferably in food or business management). 

Additional Information

Must have:

  • Project & Process management experience.
  • Business development experience or affinity.
  • Broad understanding of Finance, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Sales.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience in Innovation and/or business delivery preferably in the FMCG.

Nice to have:

  • Portfolio & Program management experience in an FMCG company.
  • Work experience in Asia.
