Job Description

  • Responsible for creation of annual Customer’s Contractual Terms in TAS system
  • Responsible for creation of monthly TPR/PPR requests in TAS system
  • Responsible for monthly L (Local) Accounts booking, re-classes and preparing monthly Local Trial Balance
  • Responsible for manual IFRS adjustments, accrual bookings, accrual reversals, month end closing re-classes
  • Assistance with other ad-hoc projects and reporting.
  • Coordinate testing related to technical developments in the AR.
  • Manage Audit requirements regarding International accounting reporting standards (IFRS)
  • Responsible for the submission and the control of blackline.
  • Supporting External and Internal Auditors for all necessary documentation/data requirements (Tax Audit, Independent Audit, Internal Audit, VAT Return Team, Tax Authority, etc.)
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance of all operations regarding our Internal Control procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field
  • 3-4  years’ experience in Reporting and Accounting
  • Strong knowledge in IFRS and General Accounting Principles (payables, receivables, fixed assets & general ledger) with governmental and tax regulations
  • Knowledge of Turkish Statutory accounting; from base level journal entry to the preparation of Monthly Tax  Declarations (Withholding Tax, VAT, Stamp Tax, BA/BS Declarations) Quarterly and Annual Corporate Tax Return
  • Professional knowledge of MS Office Programs, SAP FI/CO modules and reporting tools
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Able to continuously improve finance/accounting processes and systems
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Must possess strong work ethic and professional and positive attitude
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical thinking and solution-orientated approach
  • Able to communicate in cross functional departments
  • Strong interpersonal skill set particularly in cross cultural environment
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
