Job Description

For our Nordic Marketing team, we are looking for an ambitious, commercial and passionate Category Marketing Specialist for JDE Professional.

In the job you will play a central role in the Nordic Category Marketing team and you will become part of the Nordic marketing department, which also consists of local segment team and digital Marketing team. The role belongs to the Nordic Category Premium team and you will work with our whole bean, Roast & Ground, tea and single serve categories.

You will become responsible for the development and execution of the Nordic segment and portfolio strategies and the implementation of portfolio specific propositions. The role is responsible for developing NPD’s and strategies that perfectly fit the need of our customers. You will also be part of the development of activations contributing to sales and market share growth.

The interface is extensive, especially internally but also externally toward partners, and you will become part of skilled, ambitious and passionate marketing team. In the role as Category Marketing Specialist you will drive the development of portfolio strategy based on trends, market development, consumer-, customer- and competitor insights e.g.:

  • Lead launches of NPD’s and ensure timely delivery to market
  • Take ownership of selected categories as well as being part of project teams delivering on strategic projects
  • Ownership of product- and concept introductions the different segments.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, industry standards and competitors.
  • Report internally the developments, trends and needs for the different categories
  • Focus on out of home customers and support to key account managers and sales

Qualifications

 At least 3 years in a similar commercially driven marketing position, and possess a relevant education e.g. HD, Master or Cand. Merc. In addition, we would like you to have:

  • Solid business understanding and analytical skills
  • Good communications skills and personal drive to lead activities involving multiple functions at all managerial level.
  • Proven track record in project management, execution through sales department, and development of marketing activation driving commercial growth campaigns.
  • Experience with Sales Force, CRM or business intelligence will be an advantage as well a natural interest in Coffee.

The workplace will be at our Nordic office in Copenhagen, based in Copenhagen Towers.
