The exponential growth of technology has made IT one of the critical success factors for every business function within JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS. To enable IT as a competitive advantage, we are transforming our IT department towards areal business partner. The department of Global Information Services (GIS), administers in three expertise area’s: Service & Operations, Enterprise Solutions and Strategy & Planning. Within the Enterprise Solutions area, we distinguish three domains Supporting functions, Professional and Retail Sales. This role will manage the Professional team within Enterprise Solutions. 

As Global IT Manager Professional, you will operate as a key team member within the Global IT Leadership Team and act as the IT counterpart for the leadership of JDE’s professional business.
In this role, you will enable continuous improvement of business processes through IT initiatives for our business to business activities. You will take responsibility in developing the IT Professional strategy and capture opportunities for business improvement by translating needs into business and functional requirements. You will drive complex business project execution in close cooperation with other global and regional teams, to implement solutions which fully cover JDE business needs. You will also ensure the Professional team acts as a template custodian in close cooperation with (international) business process owners to ensure the business can establish a harmonised and standardised way of working, mainly through DevOps methodologies. 
 

As Global IT Manager Professional at JDE, you will be responsible for:  

• Advising the Global IT Director on the worldwide IT strategy for business to business activities at JDE;  
• Interact with a variety of senior-level stakeholders including JDE executives, but also external partners;
• Managing and developing a team of 8 senior professionals and a variety of external project members;
• Developing a project funnel that captures accurate B2B IT innovations and business cases; 
• Tracking and improving IT cost planning and overseeing progress on project deliverables;
• Creating a high cost for value delivered on our B2B enterprise technology;
• Maintaining our agility to upgrade, integrate and maintain our systems easily;
• Embody our company values thru ensuring compliance with our international and local IT corporate policies;
• Supporting the Agile and DevOps transformation at JDE. 
   

We are looking to hire a seasoned manager with a proven track record in managing multiple teams of senior direct reports, driving change within a global IT department and managing all aspects of large (multimillion) IT B2B programs within a worldwide operating enterprise.

Our preferred candidate would have: 

• An academic degree in IT, Business Information or other related fields of study; 
• Over eight years of experience in executing global B2B IT projects, preferably in a SalesForce ecosystem;
• Over three years of experience in managing a group of senior direct- and indirect reports; 
• A deep understanding of business-to-business processes and management systems;
• The ability to speak and write English on a professional level;
• Well-developed people & stakeholder management skills;
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
