Job Description

As a Category Manager, you will be the owner of entire category. You will be expected to build and own key strategic trade plans across the entire Nordic region. You will set the strategy and create action plans on the 4 P’s per segment. This position is the key link and collaborator with the Nordic marketing team, to ensure plans are translated to trade plans. You will be vital component building our categories in the trade, identifying opportunities, risks and ensure profitable and sustainable growth

You will come from a strong commercial background in an FMCG business and understand how to grow brands with customers and how the Sales function work.  You are highly analytical and commercial acumen are strengths.  You are ambitious for your future career and have the appetite to be at the heart of the business, influencing strategy and growth.

Key accountabilities:

  • Strategic trade/shopper category customer plans
  • Shopper marketing partner with Nordic Marketing
  • Shopper/Trade presentations
  • Translate strategy in to 4 P’s action plan on a national level
  • Key role in GTM strategy development and execution
  • In market understanding, analysis and competitor knowledge

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of Trade/Shopper marketing experience
  • Experience working in FMCG environment
  • Experience working with the major retail customers in the Nordics
  • Strong strategic as well as analytical skill is required to succeed in this role
  • Knowledge of information system tools (AC Nielsen, IRI, Sap r3, bw, intranet, Spaceman, FSSE workplace, TNS, Catman).
  • Fluent in English.
