Job Description

As a Revenue Manager, you will be the owner of the pricing and promotion strategy. You are responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of the sales results and developing Trade Strategies for implementation across the Nordics. You will be expected to build and own key strategic guidelines, planning and analysis of pricing position, promotions and trade spent across the entire Nordic region. You will set the strategy and create action plans on the price and promotion per segment. This position is the key link and collaborator with Category Management, Key Account Management and Financial Controlling, to ensure maximum return on investment and optimal pricing.

You will come from a strong commercial background in an FMCG business and understand how to grow brands with customers and how the Sales function work.  You are highly analytical and financial rigour and commercial acumen are strengths.  You are ambitious for your future career and have the appetite to be at the heart of the business, influencing strategy and growth.

Key accountabilities:

  • Support the delivery of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) via evaluation of promotional effectiveness and product and customer mix providing direction to Sales team to maximise revenue, volume, share and profitable growth (ROI)
  • Approve promotional activity within agreed authorisation levels to deliver sales KPIs for the category whilst delivering Customers’ business objectives
  • Develops and enforces pricing management policies, programs and strategies. Including defining, developing and implementing pricing guidelines, policies, bandwidths, standards, tools and best practices.
  • Coordinates market pricing and promo implementation, including monitoring and measuring of local adherence to agreed strategies

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of FMCG experience
  • Strong strategic as well as analytical skill is required to succeed in this role
  • Financial rigour
  • Self motivated, highly disciplined
  • Influencing skills – good impact presenting
  • Knowledge of information system tools (AC Nielsen, IRI, Sap r3, bw, intranet,  fsse workplace, TNS, Catman)
  • Fluent in English
